Participants will complete activities as students, using technologies and pedagogy designed to enhance online learning.
You’ll learn about topics that are recognized to be effective in online teaching yet they really can be applied in any modality, so if you’re teaching remotely, in a hybrid format, or in a traditional classroom, our goal is that you’ll learn something new that you can apply immediately.
This self-paced learning experience is designed to share strategies for designing and teaching online courses. Using Canvas, participants will complete activities as students, using technologies and pedagogy designed to enhance online learning. The information and resources in this experience have been created and curated over the last decade by our group with a focus on effective practices in online and digital education.
Participants should be instructors in an online degree program offered at a college or university or instructors who have moved their face-to-face courses to a digital environment.
Upon finishing this certificate, students will receive an online certificate of completion.
