Ryan Johnson

Executive Director, Executive Education & Professional Education, Arizona State University

Ryan Johnson is the executive director of professional sustainability education and training in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University – the first degree-granting school of sustainability in the U.S.
In this role, Ryan helps organizations and individuals meet their sustainability goals through custom training programs, open-a (non-degree) programs and partnerships. Prior to joining ASU, Ryan spent more than a decade at Arizona-based WorldatWork, an organization that delivers HR certifications and trainings to professionals worldwide.His last position at WorldatWork was Vice President and Executive Editor. Earlier in his career, Ryan was a client-facing consultant with both the Institute for Strategy Development (ISD) in Washington DC, and with Creative Healthcare Solutions (CHS), of Columbus, Ohio. In the early 1990s, Ryan completed a graduate degree at ASU and subsequently spent seven years at ASU’s Morrison Institute for Public Policy. Ryan began his career on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Small Business.

Ryan Mores

Program Manager, Executive Education & Professional Education, Arizona State University

Ryan Mores is the Program Manager with the Executive and Professional Education team within ASU’s College of Global Futures.
In this role, Ryan supports a multitude of projects that help organizations and individuals meet their sustainability goals through custom education programs, open-enrollment professional programs, and unique partnerships.
Outside of ASU, Ryan is CoFounder and Operations Director with GreenLight Solutions Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that educates and empowers the next generation of sustainability leaders. In his role with GreenLight, Ryan supports fundraising initiatives, program development, and overall strategic growth for the organization. Prior to joining ASU, Ryan worked in the private and public sectors supporting diverse sustainability initiatives, including water conservation, micro-mobility, local agriculture, community resilience, sustainability education, and municipal policy. He previously served as Vice Chair on the Tempe Sustainability and Resilience Commission, where he supported the passing of Tempe’s first Climate Action Plan.
